So, hello. I've decided that not only I post about my beauty and fashion stuffs, I'll also be posting about my personal life stories. Since today is Mothers' Day, I would love to dedicate this post to my one and only beloved mother. But, before that, here's to my nail art for Mothers' Day.
Before I actually continue with this post, I want to apologise to my mum for using her hijab needles to create this look. I was inspired by posts from nailsartvids/nailsartvidss, Honestly, their accounts have tons of nail art video tutorials that I think I wouldn't be able to recreate. But, I feel that since it's Mothers' Day, I should do something that symbolize love. Therefore, I did these adorable pink roses on a platform of nude base to give my nails a softer look. I know it looks bad but hey, A+ for effort as this is my first time trying to paint designs on my nails. I got my nail polishes from Sasa located at Causeway Point. They have offers like 2 for $5 or 2 for $2.50. Guess what? Even though these babies are cheap but they are packed with good quality. I definitely recommend them. (You can find them the moment you walk into the store)
Happy Mothers' Day!
Happy Mothers' Day to my one and only mother that I truly love. You bring tears and happiness into my life. It has been a wonderful journey with you despite how annoyed I can be when it comes to your nagging. But hey, which mother doesn't nag at their kids? I was told that when a mother nags, they are showing how much they care about you. Well, I think that's true when the times are reasonable. Haha!
I'm honestly blessed to have a mother like you. If only I knew how much hardship you had to go through to get me, to give birth to me, to raise me up and to tolerate me. I can only listen to the stories you tell me but I wouldn't be able to feel how exactly you felt while going through what you were going through. I can't even imagine myself as mother in the future. I could only bring a part of you to the next generation because a mother like you can never be replaced, ever.
I'm sorry if I ever come off as stubborn, lazy or even rude. I just want to let you know that I never had intention to hurt your feelings. I know at times we can never click. We fight and give each other the silent treatment. But, at the end of the day, you're still the woman I will ever love throughout my whole life. Thank you for the sacrifices you and papa have done for me and Lyna. Truthfully, I do not know how to repay you back. Without you, I probably wouldn't be where I am right now. Thank you for all the support you've given me right when I was a baby until now. Just so you know, I love you so much and I don't know what would I ever do without you. Thank you for holding all the jobs in the world. You are the best mother that I could ever have.
Feel free to ask my questions or tell me anything at my ask.fm, I will be glad to reply you.
Love, Delilah.
